My main focus in season 40 is acquiring one more ballhandler to run the bench and possibly eat some starting minutes as well.

Preferably young and on a longer contract. Doesn't need to be a proven player - I have a spot for a greenie.

If you have one of those lying around feel free to reach out. Or you can sign Podziemski for me and Achiuwa will be your relyable stretch four :)

Celtics' roster heading into season 40

    Donovan Mitchell, 94 OVR, SG/PG

    25/1 (birds)

    Note: Won't be moved

    Paolo Banchero, 88 OVR, PF/SF

    13/1 (birds)

    Note: Won't be moved

    Cam Johnson, 84 OVR, SF/PF

    18/1 (birds)

Note: Good shooter and definetly capable of much more in someone else's hands. Get him now if you want to obtain the bird rights and resign him on a better deal.

    Jaden McDaniels, 84 OVR, SF/PF

    5/1 (birds)

Note: My favourite player on the roster. A really strong asset is needed for me to consider trading McD

    Nick Claxton, 81 OVR, C

    20/3

Note: Kind of expensive but does everything well. Defends both inside and on the perimeter. Shot blocker, challenger, dunker and can hit a midrange as well. Very good 2K player.

    Precious Achiuwa, 79 OVR, PF/C

    4,9/1

Note: Now with an 81 three pointer. Rebounder, dunker, inside defender. Achiuwa will play a bigger role this season and he could for your team as well.

    Toumani Camara, 79 OVR, PF/SF

    4/3 (birds/RFA)

Note: Soon to be a really good 3&D wing and corner piece on the Celtics roster. 2K stats haven't caught up to his IRL game yet but boy when they do

Vince Williams JR, 77 OVR, SG/SF

    4/1 (RFA)

Note: Has not hit like i thought he would but that is mainly due to a long ankle injury. There is still hope.

    Noah Clowney, 74 OVR, C/PF

    1/3 (birds/RFA)

Note: Was expected to have a breakout season in the NBA which has not really happened yet. I still believe and at least now I have him on a good contract.

    Jaden Springer, 71 OVR, SG/SF

    1/3 (birds)

    Note: Cheap contract

Red are core pieces and not on the market

    Green we can talk about

I’m softly kicking the tires on Donovan Mitchell this upcoming season.

So if you are in win now mode or just want to play with one of 2K’s best toys, reach out via DM.

I’m looking for player(s) in the same age bracket as Banchero. I don’t expect Mitchell calibre back but the potential has to be there.

    Hi all

It seems like trade season has started and as I'm waiting for Stefans hand injury to heal, here is my trade situation

I'm looking for a (somewhat) 3&D player who can handle the ball. Eeither on PG, SG or SF position. And preferably on an obtainable contract.

I am willing to give up one of the following

    - Toumani Camara (1,5/1 rookie scale): A 3&D player on the rise who I should hold on to. But I need ball handling

    - Precious Achiuwa (4,9/2 bird rights): Tenaicious rebounder and dunker. Now with an 81 three ball

    - Noah Clowney (1,5/1 rookie scale): A three point shooting big. He is predicted to have a breakout season but it's not happening as fast as everybody hoped.

    Hi again

Now is the time if you want Cam Johnson. If you trade for him now you can transfer bird rights in the off season.

    Next season you can’t.

As previously mentioned I am short on guards.

It is no secret that season 39 has been up and down here in Milwaukee.

On one hand I really like the team we have build since the new front office took over. Most noticeable is the addition of defense in the starting lineup. Mitchell and Banchero are both elite scorers and ball handlers, therefore I expect defensive minded role players to be a priority moving forward. This is also why previous star and long term Buck Cam Johnson has been moved to the bench. Hopefully his next contract will better match his production. All in all I believe the squad is ready to go really far.

On the other hand the coach has struggled in the clutch this season, which means that most close games has turned out as losses and a disappointing record. Last season we won almost all of our 50/50 games - that has not been the case this year. Mostly due to poor execution.

But we have been playing better as of late and the goal is to notch a top 6 spot in this seasons’ playoffs. From here, we fear very few teams in the east.

From a big picture perspective we are maxed out contract wise and only have 10 players under contract going into the offseason. And very few are guards (which is the real problem). This means that either a trade is coming or we need to rely on at least one 1/1 HE PG next season. Which would be a tough beat.
